- Anchor — the proof that a bundle's root is in the bundle log on Final Chain; the gateway verifies it before any PQ row runs. intents guide
- Approval key — a per-intent post-quantum key committed in a gated intent's header; signing with it approves the intent on Final Chain and delivers the executor's key. intents guide
- Attestation chain — Final Chain's global chain: only the reconciliations and the zero-knowledge proofs of the active zones and groups within a global block ticker, its blocks chained by two post-quantum algorithms' public keys and the chained verifications rather than hash-joined (next). architecture overview
- DAG vertex — a unit of admission on Final Chain, admitted in parallel and asynchronously across the globe (next). architecture overview
- Bundle — one wrapper transaction carrying many intents through the gateway on an execution chain. architecture overview
- Bundle log — the append-only MMR on Final Chain of admitted bundle roots; admission is a post-quantum quorum. architecture overview
- Carrier — a bundle that transports protocol system calls (root advances, settlement legs) alongside or instead of user rows. architecture overview
- Certificate (
.fcert) — a post-quantum identity: two stages (live, recovery), each a public and a private half, four keys per stage; the chain is the only root. Our own standard: certificates. - Chain reference — the 32-byte identifier of a chain used by the settlement, the registries and the Launch Sale. developer api
- Co-signer — a fleet member of a K-of-N post-quantum quorum: MMR (bundle admission), account (account plane), settlement (settlement roots). architecture overview
- Consume — the chain-side act of taking a submitted intent into an admitted bundle; refused before its schedule and without approval. intents guide
- Encrypted intent — an intent as it travels: readable by the holder and, once execution is authorized, by the executing service; nothing else. pq cryptography
- Execution chain — any chain where user assets live and intents take effect (Ethereum, Optimism, Base, Arbitrum, Polygon; the test networks). operations and environments
- Final Chain — the Quantum Tesselated Protocol: the successor state plane, in development — asynchronous, participation per module and per zone in a UTXO-like model alongside the EVM, a global attestation chain; PHI is its execution asset. Today's state plane is the Pre-Final Chain. architecture overview
- Final Gateway — the chain-global bundle entrypoint on every execution chain. architecture overview
- Final Wallet — the smart-contract wallet with the same address on every chain, created from a certificate. user manual
- Float — the gateway's own native balance that funds transport and sponsors fees; a protocol liability ledger, never user assets. fees and phi
- Gated intent — an intent that executes only after the holder's approval on Final Chain. intents guide
- Intent — one signed instruction to a wallet, executed exactly once in nonce order. intents guide
- Intent log — the Final Chain contract holding postings, approvals, cancels and consumes. architecture overview
- Leaf — the hash that identifies a posted intent (and a tree entry). developer api
- LaBRADOR — the lattice-based post-quantum zero-knowledge proof scheme behind vAsset proofs; verified off-chain by the settlement quorum, its hash published on the target chain. vassets
- Lock — an asset held in the settlement contract on its origin chain behind a vAsset, or PHI held in place on an execution chain to set a tier and pay fees. fees and phi
- Module incentives — user-based: demand for a Final Chain module, a new one or an upgrade grows with the users who want it; operators who adapt faster earn more; nodes upgrade independently (planned). phi
- Node operator — whoever runs Final Chain nodes and their modules; stakes their own PHI on those nodes, takes other holders' delegations, and earns a share of Final Chain's fees for the work the modules do (planned). phi
- Particle ladder — the five-tier system of PHI holders (Neutrino to Top Quark); tiers discount service fees, never floors. particle ladder
- Delegated staking (dPoS) — Final Chain's delegated proof of stake: every PHI holder can stake by assigning stake to an operator's node while the PHI stays locked in the holder's own wallet; running a node is not required (planned, with Final Chain). phi
- PHI — the protocol's asset; supply ledger on Final Chain, presence on execution chains by spawn. fees and phi
- Post-quantum mode — a wallet's one-way switch to anchor-authorized execution; PQ-native wallets start there. user manual
- Post-quantum BFT — Final Chain's Byzantine fault-tolerant consensus with post-quantum signatures (next). architecture overview
- Pre-Final Chain — the temporary state plane in service today: trees, logs, registries, the PHI supply ledger (no external submission), post-quantum precompiles; not open to external execution. All data moves to Final Chain at release. whitepaper
- Quantum Tesselated Protocol (QTP) — the name of Final Chain's architecture. architecture overview
- Precompile — an on-chain native function; the state plane's verify SHA3-256, ML-DSA-87 and SLH-DSA-SHAKE-256s. pq cryptography
- Private intent — an intent whose executor key is released only when it is due, so nobody can read it early. intents guide
- Receipt — the user-facing record of a posting's outcome, readable by leaf. developer api
- Return — the settlement's reversal of an operation that will never settle, on the chain it started from. architecture overview
- Scheduled intent — an intent with an execute-not-before time enforced by the chain. intents guide
- Settlement — the chain-global lock-and-vAsset contract, plus the Final Chain log and quorum that drive it. architecture overview
- Slot keys — per-member, per-time-slot encapsulation keys that make the co-signer quorum a time-lock for private intents. pq cryptography
- Staking reserve — 10,000,000 PHI set aside for staking rewards on Final Chain nodes, released at 12 % of what remains each year; see PHI Tokenomics.
- Sub-account — an isolated custody route owned by one wallet. user manual
- Tree 1 — the account ledger on Final Chain; one leaf per wallet; read by proof, never rebuilt. architecture overview
- vAsset — the verifiable representation elsewhere of an asset locked on its origin chain; each carries a published post-quantum proof of its lock. vassets
- Virgin EOA — a single-use account that signs one wrapper transaction, funded a block ahead from float and swept back. architecture overview
